No way can you keep track on rolling subs in kids football not where i referee.
At a guess on Sunday in one game i would say one team alone made 20 different changes.
You have to find a way. Its your remit and duty to know not just at pens, but at all times, who is on your park
By not knowing who is on, you are high risk on the list for a pen to be taken by someone who should not be on the park
Scores winner, other team discover what has happened, the onus is on you, its you who will be asked why you were not able to accurately keep track of who should be taking a kick. You cant turn round to the committee and say "it was too hard to keep track, so, I never did"
I have been involved when such a thing happens, it's chaos and trust me, the bottom line fault and blame (and lets be brutal here, that is what it is) lies with the ref. So, find a way.
Too hard to keep track when you go to double figure yellows ? If you err here, its the refs fault
too hard to keep note of the subs....only one person will be carrying the can.....the ref.
if you cant comply with that particular leagues requirement to involve rolling subs because its too difficult, you need to find a league where you are able to keep an accurate record.
