Manchester derby

Mooseybaby

Retired big bad baldy in all black!
Not the most exciting of derbys with City in almost complete control from start to finish and United looking toothless.

Ronaldo appeared to let his frustrations get the better of him again with a 90th minute lunge on Kevin De Bruyne. Completely needless and ridiculously late on the already grounded De Bruyne, following a foul from Fernandes. Brains of a rocking horse moment from a player old and experiencd enough to know better! 🤔

Looked red in the ground and I’ve not seen a replay of the tackle on Jesus late on but looked like a penalty and that was right in front of us in the away end

Totally needless challenge with the ball and game long gone. He’ll never change!

Why wasn't Fernandes booked for the foul?

He wasn't even going to caution Ronaldo until someone got in his ear.
MO was 5/10 but got away with it being such a one sided game
Looking at it again, it should have been YC for Fernandes and possible RC for Ronaldo, as he was off the ground. I think it was the Fernandes hack that hurt De Bruyne.

The penalty claim on Jesus looked fairly clear cut. I've not seen the angle that suggests Telles might have got a touch.

Yup, Ronaldo shouldn't even have been available for this match, given the VC 2 games ago against Liverpool! He's still petulant, still a terrible loser but unfortunately for him, he's now in a team where he's going to have to get used to that pretty quickly!

It’s frustrating that Ronaldo is not only taking his frustrations out on opposition players needlessly, but also getting away with it
