This applies even if the fees are split. The Home club should pay you and get the Away team share from them. You are not expected to chase payment from the teams.Competition rules will dictate, but most commonly it is the home clubs responsibility to pay you. Check with your league's appointment officer.

Same here. I referee in a women's league and their usual match fee is £35 (standard league matches) paid by the home team but for cup games, the fee is £40 (£20 paid by each team ).
